First, I agree, there's a lot of people claiming to KNOW things when they don't know shit. On both sides. Saying you know it doesn't cause infertility is also a lie. We don't know yet. But they claim it's safe and women should go get the shot, especially pregnant women. Based on current numbers, yes, it is a relatively small number. But so is the Covid death rate for most groups of healthy people. 99% range, right? And it's crazy high, if you're in generally good health. So, take the fact that you COULD die from Covid, but probably won't if you're in good health. That's one risk. You could also die or suffer horrible consequences from the shots, even if it's only a small chance. That's another risk. If you're already at LOW risk in one category, dying or becoming severely ill with Covid, it's kind of crazy to take on additional risk. And it's pretty widely known now that these shots don't prevent transmission, so even if we were all good-hearted selfless altruists, and got the jab for everyone else's sake, we'd be doing it without benefit. The shots don't prevent transmission. We've seen it over and over. And we won't get to herd immunity through vaccination. Not for a fucking respiratory viral infection. Not using the existing shots. The fact is is that MOST of us hesitant people don't necessarily BELIEVE that the shots WILL cause major issues. We've simply done the cost/benefit analysis and don't see the benefit in THESE shots. We don't have the data. We're following the science. The science that isn't really being reported. The science that is widescale, long-term testing, which is ongoing. Again, like you admit, nobody knows shit yet. So, knowing all the above, knowing the benefit just doesn't appear to be there, and combining that with the flip flopping and shitty messaging and creepy autocratic talk about mandates...take all that shit and tell me there's no rational path to the idea that this is a coordinated effort at something bad. I'm not saying believe it. But consider the evidence and say that you can't empathize, and see this from that perspective. Our government has FUCKED us before. There's plenty of reasons not to trust the official narrative.
