If she wants to go the little black book method she has to do it as a whistle-blower. She will also need more concrete proof then just hearsay... she will need audio/video documentation of malfeasance.
You could try and flip the script on them and start raising hell on those issues now as they occur. That could be good ammunition down the road to have a track record of reporting so she can accuse the hospital of trying to ax her, but a either way an employment attorney is the first step.
