A campfire. Because that means you are camping, fishing or hunting away from them. My first choice is hickory or oak wood on a grill and it seldom matters what you put on it, it is good.
Wood type matters.
It is everything. i use nothing but hickory or oak and the idea of mesquite ruins meat.
Honestly I still haven't learned the best wood type for a camp fire, but I've used ash and that seems to work pretty well.
stovetop, because it means that at the end of the day, you still have access to electricity.
lol, in the quiet woods or at the lake, 'electricity' is Never missed.
go take a leak at 2am without a flashlight. i guarantee you'll miss electricity.
