Unfortunately pretty sure it's "no". It's being viewed the same as a Uniform requirement - e.g. dont want to wear the uniform at McDonalds you cant work there. Same idea.

Yeah, I haven't found anything except exemptions, but those all come with caveats that the employer can make your life very tough if you use an exemption.
