Seems fine, you can just do a basic install of wordpress. As long as you don't load it up with plugins it should be reasonably fast. The whole reason people load up plugins is because they're very useful and worth the loss in performance. Seems like with bearblog you'll always be stuck with it being featureless forever.

But I just want for text, and maybe some photos\images, not even know if it is possible to put pictures on it.

Keep in mind that even a simple wordpress installation needs someone to take care of its security and update it regularly.
