Homeland Generation is a name for mine apparently. I don't know if I like it or not. Better than Gen Z

That name doesn't make any sense. We should name them after what was new at the start of the generation. Millennials would be the CD generation or the AOL generation.

Everyone in that generation doesn't know what it's like to not have large media storage or online forums.

80% of the people we call Millennials are actually Gen Z. Millennials start in the early 80s. I thought it was the end of the 80s.

New problem and new solution. Let's call people after their birth decade to make it simple. Maybe drop the zero, and beyond 2000 you get an extra 10.

Born in the 80s, you are gen 8. Born in the 90s you are gen 9. Just became an adult? Your are gen 10.

This is the problem with the stupid ass name Millennial. I always thought I was GenY, turns out I'm also a Millennial.

The easiest way to explain "Millennial" time frame is if you were not 18 by the year 2000 you're probably a Millennial. Because 2000 - 18 = 1982.

Gen X, I think. Welcome to , observe the rules and behave accordingly.

  • Adolescent same sex attraction, homosexuality, is a conscious choice resulting from a childhood sexual trauma caused by a pedophile.
  • Avoid individuals who use dye their hair unnatural colors for their ethnicity, e.g. Blacks with blonde hair, Anyone with neon hair.
  • Learn a skill, master a trade, eventually computers will become able to program themselves.
  • Don't smoke, unless you're literally on fire. That's the only time it can't be helped.
  • There's nothing wrong with being the designated driver.
  • Men and women are not equals beyond being mortal.
  • Put your money in a credit union.
  • Avoid credit cards and student loans. All debt is bad.
  • All wars are economic wars.
  • Your skin color doesn't matter, they're after your wealth, and will come up with any reasoning to gather the mob to take it.
  • Do the things you once feared. It will help you build confidence.

That's why I'm trying to pay my college cash. If you ever have to go to college, go local. It's super cheap. It's not even close to the costs of going away for school. Plus there's a lot of conservatives that go local

My credit card, I only use that for online stuff, gas stations and anywhere a computer can get hacked. It has fraud protection and I can reverse a transaction that I never made

I only use my debit card for online transactions. I put dough on the debit account usually a few minutes before I actually run the charge. Everything else I pay cash. Everything. As for college, the military is still an excellent option. If you know what trade you want to go into on the civilian market and test high enough to get in on the asvab, you get it. You then transition into the national guard and get free state college/university with gi bill. Plus real work experience that's better than any ivy league education.

While debt is often abused, it can be valid to get a mortgage when buying a home. Also, borrowing for education that will definitely lead to a significantly better job can be worth it. The problem is fools borrowing money for useless degrees. However, I know someone who borrowed for an MBA, from a top school, and got a high paying job, easily showing it to be a valid investment.

If you have a job, and extreme medical bills, declaring bankruptcy may be the best course.

Take care of your body. You will be living in it a long time. Take responsibility for your health.

Yeah but that goes back to cavemen bonking rocks together for their amusement. Almost everything we do is derivative and that's not necessarily a bad thing; though in the case of 99.9% of popular music today it is. And while I'm at it get the hell off my lawn.

You forgot the part about taxes. My grandpa is a Boomer. He says the only gurantees you get in life are "you're born, you pay taxes and you die"

Be your own person. Don't let other people set your value. This is your life; take ownership Especially, many measure themselves by their sexual market value, which is ridiculous. Also, try not to let your sex drive control you, all the time. Give yours a break, at least occasionally :-)
