You guys kinda suck at this. Panda worked with youth outreach. He did something with the mobile app the DNC was using to advertise their party. Panda sensed some things were off when the election cycle was looming. He had access, due to his position, to some machine or machines and was able to pull important info off of some server.
What he sent to Mendax likely had nothing to do with the emails about sacrificing chickens to Moloch. That was the Witch's doing; she left her server wide open so Chinese operatives could access info on her and people like her so they could be blackmailed. The release of these emails and the data like them wasn't what Panda was doing. These DNC emails were likely the work of another actor, now dubbed Gucifer 2. Likely /ourguys/ in an INT agency.
Panda noticed the way Bernie was being treated. He wanted Bernie to win. He must have figured out the Witch stole the primary from Bernie and in his planning of revenge, stumbled upon clear collusion to rig the election. Now fast forward with that information in mind. What role did Panda (Rich) play in how things are unfolding today? Any ideas?
