I don't see this happening. Keep in mind that FakeBook was started with taxpayer money under a different name. To recreate a FakeBook platform requires more resources than any capitalist funder would give. Also, getting people to shift to a new platform would be very difficult. There are still people using Myspace and AOL.
Have you seen MySpace. The original setup is gone as far as I know replaced with a monstrosity of marketing ugliness on steroids. I used to love the pages of unique creativity but now it's like a retard that liked huge picture books took it over. So MySpace was killed by the music industry that has NO TASTE at all in website design, worse than facebook even.
