Depends on the electric.

I used to be 100% gas, but I switched to one of the glass-top electrics and I love it. Super easy to clean and heats up fast.

If it's the old coil style electric stoves, those suck ass.

If there is a power outage, I have my grill, dutch oven, or any of my camping stoves to use, so I'm not worried about that.

I've never had one of the flat top ones, only the coil kind. Never liked them. Maybe I'll try one someday.

I have a small kitchen, so it actually helps as extra counter space when I'm prepping food too.
