Gas. My family going back to being a kid always had gas. I had one grandma with an electric. My wife grew up with electric, but now prefers gas. As for my own personal family, we've never had anything but gas.
So ... long story short ... gas.

Plus, in most cases, I think gas is a cheaper alternative. With the US being an oil and gas superpower, prices are more reasonable, IMHO.

Plus when the power goes out, your stove still works all you need is a lighter, dude with the electric stove is SOL
