Yeah, I took it with a grain of salt. It has happened before in this area, so...ymmv.

My absolute favorite statement from the police was some nignog hamplanet that was walking across a busy street and got hit/killed. Police went "Woman here, crosswalk there. No charges." Had that happened today (it was about 15 years ago) there would be riots.
