Lost my encrypted 100gb txt veracrypt container by using lili and fat formatted my 2tb drive. im a retard it formatted it in fat32 then i did a windows fast format back to ntfs. (maybe this made things worse) hoping this allows me to retrieve the 100gb txt container.

recuva is currently on a deep scan estimating 24hours or should i use drill disk ? i know the file name of the txt if that is any help. (opslag.txt) 100gb can you guys help me get my archive container back from the disk ?

One reason I haven't ever used encryption. But really, you must keep a backup of important stuff. Drives fail. Users do stupid things. Only data I've ever lost was due to me deleting it (and not realizing until months later, when the backup also had it deleted).
