I just started doing reality checks throughout the day. 7 or 8 times. Just enough to make it a habit. Eventually after it became a habit I did it while I was dreaming. As soon as I did it (unconsciously) during a dream i went lucid. Like a huge adrenaline spike as all of a sudden your waking mind snaps to to awareness in the middle of a dream. It’s trippy the first time. I ended up waking up almost immediately. Then I just went from there. Later learned to control things. Now I can do whatever i want. If I’m having a nightmare but I’m not in the mood I’ll change it. I’ll fuck anyone. I’ll kill people. Fly blow up planets. Fight zombies. Talk to dead people. Whatever you can imagine you can do. It’s crazy cause you’re using your brain yet you’re basically inside at the same Time. So everything you think happens right in front of you. Crazy stuff. All these insane experiences I couldn’t explain to anybody. There’s a bunch of stupid methods you can use online. I never used any of them. Just do the reality checks. I used to pinch my nose and try to breathe through my nose. Then spend 20 seconds or so looking around you just focusing and ask yourself am I dreaming right now. Really focus and look. The point to remember is to make it a habit
Thanks... i used to be into it... haven't done it in quite a while. I've experienced all the same things. Once got trapped in a dream I was lucid. Took 3 forced wake ups to escape.
My favorite thing these days is nightmares. But sometimes I’ll Keep Inducing nightmares and waking up too many times till my adrenaline is pumping and I can’t get back to sleep
