The last time I had the hut was about 4 years ago at a work party.
I'm considering ordering a medium stuffed crusted meat lovers - has anyone had it recently?

Is it worth the $20? (food, tax, delivery, tip)
Should I chug some pepto bismal beforehand?

[EDIT] They only do large stuffed crusts - meat lovers are $20. Almost $30 with tax, delivery & tip - definitely not worth it just to find out it sucks ass. I'm gonna order from a local place - In my area, most places taste the same because they get their ingredients from the same local distributor - real good pizza is hard to come by and most specialty places charge a premium for quality ingredients.

If you want it any time in the next hour and a half you're better off going to get it yourself. That has been my experience of trying to get pizza. If you are actually hungry, the pizza will take an hour and a half and you'll go eat something and then you won't be hungry. If try to predict when you'll be hungry, they'll probably bring it in 30 minutes and ruin your planning.

Also, Pepto won't do it for me. The grease is too intense, if you don't regularly eat stuff like that. It will make you sick.

Been years since I've last had pizza hut. It wasn't bad, wasn't good either mind you but I didn't die.

Loved the place as a kid, arcade games and TMNT. Things seemed better then.

YUM! Foods brand is guaranteed to be made from utter shit.

10 years ago dine in all you can eat.

My home made pizza is better than any store bought anyway.

To preface this, the last time i had pizza hut was right after they came out with the new menu with the new crusts and sauces, i was not a fan of them. The old pizza hut was good i guess though I may be looking at it through the lens of nostalgia.

I'm thinking about Sunday's dinner & Monday's lunch for work. The last time I had stuffed crust pizza hut, I thought it was ok - nothing to rave about other than the crust. If Dominos did stuffed crust, I think they could almost put pizza hut out of business. And the hut only does large stuffed crusts. $20 just for the meat lovers. Almost $30 with tax, delivery & tip.

Cures hunger, but doesn't fix the appetite. Totally miss the old school Dominos, they both changed recipes to absolute blahh, so really hard to enjoy either of them.

Old schools dominoes? Like in the 80’s? I remember their pizza having ketchup for pizza sauce and being generally terrible. They completely rebranded and were saved only by the fact that the turtles movie used their pizza in the film.

I'm 90's... Wish i knew the 80's unfortunately was still in diapers for that decade. Trying to describe what memory I have of recipe is difficult to explain, definitely don't remember ketchup for sauce, heck there was barely any sauce from what my memory recalls. Over sized crust and the rest of the slice was cardboard thickness.

I don't eat out anymore... I check the labels on everything and a good 90% of anything that's been processed has some sort of soy in it. Soy flour, soy oil, isolated soy proteins, soy lecithin etc... Add on top of that all the other chemicals and filler garbage and it's a recipe for a long slow painful death. Restaurants, even of the non-fast food type are using these same pre-processed ingredients. Unless you're eating out at a Michelin star restaurant, you're being fed poison at a premium. On top of that, it's probably a nigger making your food.

Sysco and it’s various other named subsidiaries so you don’t know it’s Sysco supply 99% of all food menus to restaurants. It’s all a chemical shitstorm designed to make you sick, weak and gay. If you do happen to find a restaurant that serves supposedly Non GMO foods, which is an extreme rarity, are you sure you want to try them now that RoundUp is allowed to be sprayed on Non GMO? Unless you have and run your own farm you really have no fucking idea what your eating, let alone have a say in it. The same entities that own the food industries own the pharmaceutical industries and we know what pieces of shit they are. All you can do is as you say, read the labels and try to minimize your chemical shitstorm intake. For that alone, forget the religious/political reasons, heads should be rolling across this world for what they’ve done to us by adding shit to foods that have absolutely reason being there other than to slow kill us while in the meantime draining us on the other end with even more deadly “medications” caused by the garbage you can’t avoid without as I’ve said, owning your own farm.

Excellent point. I've stopped using grocery markets and started visiting with farmers in my current small town in a fly-over state. There are websites out there for finding farms, co-ops, CSAs, etc... And I am currently building towards buying land and starting my own homestead. And with that note, I'll drop this link for anyone interested in starting their own food supply: https://www.thebalanceeveryday.com/free-seed-catalogs-1357756

Everyone should remember, if you're not watching and regulating what you consume; some over-powered psychopath (or groups of psychopaths) will be.

I applaud your plan of action and dedication to healthy living. Wish you much success in your goals. There’s much to learn about growing food. We’ve shamefully been separated from that knowledge for several generations now. Get in to print everything you can on it. The internet just may not be here down the road. Sometimes I wish I had grown up Amish.

The price they're asking these days for one damn pizza is too damn high.

Not going to affirm it's supposed worth by buying that shit.

It's a shame they don't have the Crazy Cheesy Crust anymore. Best thing Pizza Hut has come up with in the past decade.

Beats the fuck out of going hungry.

It hasn't changed a bit. No better and no worse. Like a trip back to 1995.
