The mic sucks and I need to record the music directly into my phone. What do I need?

Maybe a decent microphone?

Also: Just a thought here: If you are going to make "Music Gear Videos", and you can't figure out how to even record off your phone, perhaps you are not actually qualified to make "Music Gear Videos".

Edit to add: The RAGE DOWNVOTE for someone speaking the truth really completes the faggotry. Enjoy pretending you are an audiophile, loser.

I'm a electronic musician with music on Spotify and all streaming platforms. I don't want to spend money on a camera plus my I only have internet on my phone with only 15gb of tethering. So it needs to be done with only my phone and I want to know how to record audio directly into it - not like at concert because LG phones have horrible audio recording quality.

I B elcetronic musician an sheeit!

Fuck right the fuck off you pathetic faggot.

Why don't you get a decent mic and record to your laptop and then transfer the sound to your phone after synching to the video?

I thought about recording the music into a separate track to sync with the video but I would rather have it synced together as one coherent piece. Otherwise I'll just get a used go-pro and run the audio directly to the mic input.

You could connect your phone to your laptop and your Mic and let the software record them on the laptop together. Specify the camera from the phone as the video input and the Mic as audio input.

You probably want a mixer. If it's a digital instrument like a keyboard or something, you should be able to do what you want with a decent mixer and the right cables. If you're recording instruments that you need to pick up through the air, then you definitely need some good instrument microphones.
