I'd be all for it.

I finally asked my boss for a raise and got it. After watching us raise all my subordinates pay; I simply said with the current market, I don't feel my salary is competitive anymore. There wasn't even any pushback.

Maybe it's time for top execs and CEOs to scale back pay.

There is no pay gap between ceos and workers. The only people that say things like this are people who have no clue how trade works, have never had a business, never had payroll to make and have NEVER had to hire people where, on average, %70 of all potential employees are not just sub par candidates but sub par human beings.
