I'd be all for it.

I finally asked my boss for a raise and got it. After watching us raise all my subordinates pay; I simply said with the current market, I don't feel my salary is competitive anymore. There wasn't even any pushback.

Maybe it's time for top execs and CEOs to scale back pay.

I don't think it is about optics. I wonder if the need to retain staff will require it.

Don’t worry, as soon as it reaches a breaking point where real wages rise the (((Fed))) will tank the economy again.
