I'd be all for it.

I finally asked my boss for a raise and got it. After watching us raise all my subordinates pay; I simply said with the current market, I don't feel my salary is competitive anymore. There wasn't even any pushback.

Maybe it's time for top execs and CEOs to scale back pay.

Probably not, but if it does it’s going to create a problem where the new hires are starting at more money than the people who have been loyal to the company, and then you can expect to see some turmoil
