They insist all babies should be laid on their backs but not all babies like to sleep that way. A lot of "SIDS" comes from fatass mommy sleeping with the baby and crushing it in their sleep.
SIDS is a term used to reduce the trauma a mother feels after her baby dies from any number of things, including being crushed or suffocating in their sleep.
Or shaken/smothered. I've seen that theory before.
If the baby can turn on its own don't worry about it.
