Baby should sleep with the mother, as long as she's not a degenerate drugged out (and yes, painkillers count) fat fuck and as long as she's breastfeeding through the night. And everyone should be vaccine free.

Mostly this ^
Back, stomach, side, I don't think it matters.

[–] 0 pt

Thats a fucking terrible idea. Sure don't give them vaccines but this is how you wake up in the morning and you wife rolled over the baby. FYI you can do this completely sober.

[–] 3 pts

Breastfeeding mothers have been co-sleeping with their infants successfully for millennia. Obviously it shouldn't be done by formula-feeders, fat fucks, mothers on painkillers, or heavy sleepers. Hospital guidelines for neonatal care are written to he usable by the lowest-common-denominator retards and do not produce the best results for babies for everyone.

Breastfeeding mothers have been co-sleeping with their infants successfully for millennia.

Thats not the greatest point with our horrendous infant mortality ratio in the past.

I still think its a bad idea.

My wife could be perfect but I still wouldn't want her to have to deal with the consequences on the off chance she does roll on the baby. Crib right next to the bed and now you don't have to worry about death just less skin-to-skin contact.

I still think most SIDS cases are Vaccine reactions and actual infanticide though.

There was a study showing that when an infant sleeps in the same room as the parents it raises the father's estrogen levels. I don't have source right off hand. I just remember reading it years ago.

[–] 2 pts

I'd be interested to see that. And to see who funded it. I've also read studies suggesting that hearing their parents breathing in the same room can help kick-start the infant again if they stop breathing on their own for some reason.

[–] 1 pt

And to see who funded it

Yeah. I think I read it before I was aware of the serious jq

SIDS was shown to have a brain stem component from autopsy of children who died of sids. Something to do with ability to detect and respond to high CO2 content in breathing. I’m not sure why they don’t explain that to young parents- my guess is they allow fear to help amp up their concern to prevent deaths- but ultimately it appears to be a brain deformity that causes SIDS deaths, and there’s not much a parent could do to prevent it other than try to prevent the high CO2 event- which leads us all to ask the question about how our baby is sleeping or what is inside the crib. If this was the problem, there would be many more deaths of children than there are- we’d be losing them left and right. It’s sad because new parents are already freaked about how to properly hold or feed their gift from God- and they now have to try and sleep with the wonder of night-time child death in the next room. I wish more doctors would explain that they did find a physical brain deformity that was behind SIDS.

Just like shaken baby syndrome. The shake isn’t a simple shake- it’s literally vigorous head back and forth whip-lash shaking. It’s very clear if you see a video of it- but every parent is worried about a little bouncing to help their child calm down while trying to get them to sleep.

My best and prayers to all new poal parents! God bless you all!

Yeah you give em a lil bounce to simulate walking, makes them want to sleep so that you can journey/escape without alerting every predator for 10 fucking miles.

I remember hearing rumors that SIDS was a cover up for deaths caused by babies inhaling toxic flame retardant chemicals emanating from their mattresses for hours and hours a day.

Or logically speaking SIDS is the mother killing the baby in its sleep. The simplest answer is the correct one

While some women may be getting away with murder, SIDS is real and was significantly reduced after awareness campaigns:

For your baby's room:

  • Window open

  • Fan on

  • Plants

Years ago my wife heard about a friends son who was vaccinated and had a seizure that night for the first time. She told our doctor she wasn’t the kids any shot until they were at least 2 and six months apart and half doses. All are healthy and adults. Today I won’t give them any vaccines.

[–] 2 pts

SIDS is babies being shaken to death or smothered by frustrated roasties

[–] 2 pts

Make sure the head is slightly above the feet in terms of height for the crib. One inch above works.

Dont use cribs or blankets where somehow it can choke or be strangled by its own actions.

Dont make the baby sleep on the same bed as the mother during the first three months. Place a crib in the same bedroom right next to the bed.

Breastfeed. No vaccines. If you cant avoid it due to family pressure, one dose of deadly diseases (no need for flu shots) only, space 3-4 months between each shot. Dont vaccinate the baby at all during the first year. Second year, pick two diseases and have it take the shots. Its not a solution, because best scenario is a middle finger to vaccinea, but it gives you leeway in the family.

Use a bassinet in the same room, elevated on the side of the head from underneath.

[–] 0 pt

Why elevate the head of the bassinet? My little one is 23 days old today. And he is always turning side to side (can't flip over from belly yet). Won't he just wiggle his way down to the bottom of the bassinet if he's sleeping on an incline?

[–] 0 pt

If he pukes or has any sort of reflux on his digestive system, he wont drown and the liquid can safely go down.

If autism runs in your family, avoid aluminum. About half of the vaccines contain aluminum. Hep B is probably the worst offender, three doses each high in aluminum, and people started getting it in the 80s.

I suspect that the aluminum deposits in autistic brains come from vaccines, but I also try to reduce it in our diet. Double-acting baking powder is the biggest culprit. Single-acting works just as well and doesn't contain aluminum. Argo brand is single-acting and available in most stores.

I wouldn't worry about SIDS too much, but you might as well put your kid on his back to sleep. There are a variety of causes of SIDS (such as murder) but most of them have to do with difficulty breathing.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

They insist all babies should be laid on their backs but not all babies like to sleep that way. A lot of "SIDS" comes from fatass mommy sleeping with the baby and crushing it in their sleep.

[–] 1 pt

SIDS is a term used to reduce the trauma a mother feels after her baby dies from any number of things, including being crushed or suffocating in their sleep.

[–] 2 pts

Or shaken/smothered. I've seen that theory before.

[–] 1 pt

ABC for safe sleep

Alone on their Back in a Crib (or bassinet, pack n play, etc)

The crib can be in the parents room if them like or with a monitor close enough to hear their breathing.

There should be no blankets, stuffed animals, or bumpers in the crib. Put them in proper sleep clothes to keep them warm enough. Infants aren’t strong or coordinated enough to get some off their face so they will suffocate.

Our city had a HUGE problem with SIDS and mother’s smothering their babies in their sleep. ANY adult will roll on a kid. Humans are stupid that way.

[–] 1 pt

Lay on stomach? Not until they can roll over on their own.

[–] 1 pt

Or you are watching them and they are playing. Then being on the stomach is fine.

Also you should avoid overly soft mattresses and loose blankets etc., ie stuff that can smother you.

[–] 1 pt

I was inferring sleep from SIDS.

Yes you are right, babies need floor / belly time to develop when they are awake.

[–] 1 pt (edited )
  1. SIDS was significantly reduced after people were recommended to lay babies on their backs. However, if your child is strong enough to turn itself around I would no longer worry about it.
  2. After having now witnessed the total embarrassment of the modern "healthcare" system and fake academia I would strongly question any vaccine or medicine for my children.
  3. If you need to supplement the mother's natural milk, egg yolks contain almost the same as human breastmilk. It's only slightly deficient in vitamin C, K and copper. All these can be found in for example broccoli, so egg yolks + a bit of squeezed broccoli juice would be a non-artificial non-(((Nestle))) complete breastmilk replacement.
