This must be the most hated generation of all time.

I thought Boomer hate was a bit over the top until the last few years when, effortlessly, Millenials surpassed the Boomers in general stupidity, self-aborbdness, selfishness, shocking sense of self-entitlement, and generally being annoying.

How the fuck did these fuckers end up like this?

I cannot for the life of me undertand the way they think.

I am not like some old person complaining about the young, which is a given for much of history. Most old people complain about the young with an implicit understanding that they are old in their ways and that the young are just rebelling, which they themselves did in their youth.

But the super fucking annoying thing with the rebellion of these Millenial A-holes is that they are rebelling by...standing WITH The Establishment? WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?

In all of history, the young always sought to stick it to the man. They always fought authority or mocked it.

But these fucking Millenials are...with the authority? What the fuck? Why would you push for everything that the Establishment stands for?

There must be some phenomenon here that I don't understand on why, for the first time in history, the young don't fight the Establishment, but fights those who fights the Establishment. The young have become bootlickers and lapdogs of the Establishment.

Can somebody explain how the Millenials became this way?

They had it easier than any generation. They had programs about building self esteem that ended with YOU ARE SPECIAL (for absolutely no reason at all). As Gen X we had some of those growing up but we knew it was bullshit teachers peddled to us. Milennials swallowed whole all the propaganda and bullshit fed to them.

They had no witchhunts growing up (Comics and JDs for Boomers, heavy metal and Dungeons and Dragons for Gen X) so they became the witchhunters

No bullying to help them improve themselves. When people would try to better themselves others would try to tear them down and call it bullying or hurting others' self esteem.

-No rebellious music to teach them to fight authority. Instead they had nigger music that taught them to sell out and side with corporations.

I'll add that as Gen X, we are surrounded by the two worst generations in history and it fucking sucks

Bullshit, boomers had it easier than any generation. Leave school early, walk into a production line job, have enough to buy a nice house and car with a single income.

I meant growing up they were babied. Teachers were afraid to get upset with or even fail a student or they could lose their job. Classes were dumbed down to promote self esteem. They got participation trophies. Then they became adults and the world didn't play along and they're throwing a generational temper tantrum.

Imagine blaming a kid for getting his way for throwing a temper tantrum and not the parents

I think it’s kind of silly to lump all millennials into one category. I’m technically a millennial, but I am about is different from the kind of people you are talking about as it gets. And there are a lot of us

Yeah. I have a friend visiting and he was just talking about how he feels like the older generation and younger one swapped.

Example: Him and his friends began illegally beekeeping on his apartment roof as a hobby and anytime he visits his mom she's showing him dated memes on Facebook for hours.

He feels like the older generation is getting mindlessly plugged in while the younger one is starting to try and unplug a bit.

Though it really depends on your social group. Each generation has all the personality groups and types of people.
