This must be the most hated generation of all time.

I thought Boomer hate was a bit over the top until the last few years when, effortlessly, Millenials surpassed the Boomers in general stupidity, self-aborbdness, selfishness, shocking sense of self-entitlement, and generally being annoying.

How the fuck did these fuckers end up like this?

I cannot for the life of me undertand the way they think.

I am not like some old person complaining about the young, which is a given for much of history. Most old people complain about the young with an implicit understanding that they are old in their ways and that the young are just rebelling, which they themselves did in their youth.

But the super fucking annoying thing with the rebellion of these Millenial A-holes is that they are rebelling by...standing WITH The Establishment? WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?

In all of history, the young always sought to stick it to the man. They always fought authority or mocked it.

But these fucking Millenials are...with the authority? What the fuck? Why would you push for everything that the Establishment stands for?

There must be some phenomenon here that I don't understand on why, for the first time in history, the young don't fight the Establishment, but fights those who fights the Establishment. The young have become bootlickers and lapdogs of the Establishment.

Can somebody explain how the Millenials became this way?

You are right. Disliking pride doesn't mean that you like or prefer the opposite. Which I think is reasonable.

And there's another guy in that scene, who doesn't show off, who doesn't waste time and energy in futility

Not wasting time in futility. As in, being efficient and professional. Is that something to take pride in?

And even Scarface himself. Now, I don't know the movie so I can only speculate. Albeit the same might apply to other mobster and villains.

Him being arrogant might've killed him. But I'm assuming he was no ordinary guy. His pride might've pushed him to become infamous, someone worth watching in a movie. Someone to remember. A more interesting character.

Wouldn't that mean that there is something desirable and admirable in this "deadly sin"?

It would be unwise in that instance... Kind of like those retarded criminals posting videos on tubes for the world to contemplate their deeds, basically confessing their crime. It's silly.

It's not a question of pride. You stick to what's necessary, nothing more, nothing less. There are enough rooms for errors and hazard already.

The fundamental difference between good and evil, is that, unlike evil, you can stop doing good anytime you want.

And when it comes to scarface, this is also part of the story of "tony montana"/al pacino. He does evil, since pretty much the beginning of the movie, he's a criminal escaped from castro's prisons. And he makes his way top the top through drug trafficking and assassinations. But at some point, he's asked to do something that goes against his personal moral code. And from there, shit starts to go south.

The only necessity is basically shelter and food.

What is wrong about having an internal drive to achieve more than basic necessities?
