The early seasons of GoT were great. But I prefer to look at the real world rather than fiction.
And I see many people in power and in influential positions, or dating beautiful women, who could be described as prideful. It doesn't seem to stop them.
You have this or that billionaire guy with a deluxe bitch so what? That's what you want? Then start by doing what's necessary in order to get there.
You can become a famous raper, showing off 24/7 for a living, that's what you want? Same deal.
But reality, is that behind the scene, you might have to shove your pride in your ass, and spin.
And that part they don't brag about it. Things are rarely what they seem to be.
you might have to shove your pride in your ass, and spin.
Why would you have to shove your pride up your ass?
You'll have to acquire skills, practice and work hard.
None of these are shameful.
That's in theory, in a vacuum, in practice it's a whole different ballgame
Whether you're a raper or business man, you're not going to operate in a vacuum, you're going to have to deal with people already there, you're going to have to play by their rules and adhere to their principles and general philosophy... If you have a problem working for jews for instance, I'm afraid it's going to be a real problem. Talking about pride... Well that one will be a tough one to swallow.
It's not your world, it's not your casino, you don't get to call the shots, unless of course you manage to make it yours... Good luck with that.
