If they have small kids, give them Tuttle Twin books. They explain economics, liberty, and government in a way that a five year old can understand. Every kid I know loves the books, and the parents get to learn it while they read to them.
I just stumbled across the Cubs to Bears series by Brett Pike. Childrens' books that teach about things like the Federal Reserve and Operation Mockingbird, pretty cool!
Thanks, I have a few relatives having kids and might homeschool them hopefully, these'll make good gifts since I never know what to get them.
