Not really. It's like NY where everybody gets their own street. China town, little Italy. Ukrainian area. Mini Somalia. And each settler and aboriginal have there own small towns. In the big city, the people that are everywhere are euro metis filipino and aboriginal. If you go to Vancouver you get more Chinese. If you go out east you get more people who want gibs.
I live right beside downtown and if I go out on a late walk tonight in my local park... my first concern is coyotes. Not people.

Hehehehe... they get less scared each day and they hunt in packs.
