At the risk of being redundant... I believe that the natural world, i.e. the universe, was *created*. We can known things about the eternal nature of the Creator from creation itself, and He has revealed himself through people (who made a written record) and the God+man Jesus who resurrected bodily. I appreciate the genetic bond that you and I might share, but if there is a chance for an eternal existence beyond this one, I would prefer to focus on the things that would unite us in eternity.
