Say I'm shilling for exxon mobil, should I be buying my petrol at an Exxon or Mobil gas station? And what if I want to buy some snake oil additives, like upper cylinder lubricant, Mobil doesn't make one, so I have to buy Lucas making me feel guilty. Maybe I don't need to buy any cause this stuff already gots it? Anyway I'm sure the gasoline comes from the same pump, delivered with the same truck network, so maybe it doesn't matter? Oh well, my car engine ain't explode so I guess I'll keep using it.

Anyway, back to the original question, Exxon or Mobil? Or just whichever one is closest?

paying people to push your absolutely necessary product really doesnt seem like all that useful an investment.

play games all you like renewable power is a communist scam.

at least for now.

Paying people to get others to accept and have a better general attitude towards the necessary product only helps. There is too much negative press thrown at the oil companies in the name of fake environmentalism. Besides I'm cheap all things considered, I produce great returns on investments. I'm yielding 15% return for every dollar invested in me at the moment.

Whichever is closest. Gas is gas unless you are trying get your car to vroom perfectly at 87.36 mph

Data logs show the least knock when I use the same gas station, also avoid gas stations when the truck is there pumping gas. All the water in the tank will slosh about, wait a few hours for it to separate, and best to get gasoline at night.

youre either using the wrong octane or your car is shit.

most cars with electronic timing adjust themselves to stop the knocking unless youve got a sensor our or something really wrong. either way if it was the petrol the entire suburb would be up in arms not just one customer.

Most cars don't have the compression ratio bumped up by 2 points. Maybe your understanding is shit.

Lucasoil and Marvel Mystery Oil do work, it's not 'snake oil', ask any mechanic.

I'm a big fan of upper cylinder lubricant. I am also a mechanic.

Lucas makes good shit, their greases are top notch. 👌

Timing chain guides gettin uppity? Lucasoil will calm em down.

The new oil service specification actually has additives to prevent timing chain wear. However no, I have no issues with my chain guides. I have a special timing chain tensioner and it always has adequate hydraulic pressure. Even if the VTEC solenoid leaks, or if my piston oil jets get stuck open, I'll have proper pressure at the chain guide.

Chevron gas has tecron in it. I just use seafoam in the gas once a year or so.

The oil companies really don't need shills. Funny thing about oil, it is necessary for a first world nation. Well, "upper cylinder lubricant" is good stuff but it's nothing like my special rattlesnake oil pressed from only the fattest rattlesnakes you've ever seen. It cured impotency, toenail fungus, heartburn, and pretty much anything else that ails you! Only $99.99 plus shipping and handling. PM me to order some and don't forget I also sell the best tinfoil hats, they are guaranteed to stop aliens and the government from controlling your mind! Made from the finest Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap money can buy but you will have to pay a one time fee of only $399.99 for a head sizing session to make sure it fits properly and stops ALL mind control rays!

Everyone needs some good shilling, just like lubricants, shills grease the gears in the minds of people. Besides, you don't know what you need until you've had it. Because then you can feel what it's like to not have it.

Oil companies don't need shilling, lmao what the fuck is this shit!?

Get you fucking soda cookie ass outta here.

The Lucas stuff is pretty much just liquid plastic and oil. Lubricates and prevents carbon build up.

Are you retarded? Buying that upgraded gas when your car doesn’t call for it is jew level bullshit. Cars run on what their manual says.

[–] 0 pt

You're not even addressing the main point of the argument, how much padding does your retarded helmet have? Car runs on what I need it to in order to stave off knocking, the fuel and ignition tables have been modified by yours truly.

[–] 0 pt

'the fuel and ignition tables have been modified by yours truly'

right, so its a you problem not a car problem or a fuel problem, fix your timing.

that answers my previous comment.

There was no point. Only your Down’s syndrome ass drooling over gas prices. Ask you stepdad to take you to the swap meet after he juggles your balls. Free ride.

So, what is your point? Some cars require 91 or better octane to avoid knocking, which is never a problem in America. There is nothing at any gas station or pump that delivers “cylinder lubricant.” If you buy it, you’re on a nigger level. Next you’ll buy the car wash with “Teflon” to protect your paint @ 19.99 a shot.

Yes of course, gasoline is a solvent, and it sprays on top of the cylinders, therefore only carbon can accumulate. This is particularly bad on direct injection cars, which is why they started using both port and direct injection. Lubricating the combustion chamber with a solvent that dissolves carbon and sticks can helps because that is the one part of the engine that has the least lubrication. Gasoline is a solvent after all.
