It's real, but you need to be very precise, and have good technique. Tapping it isn't enough, you have to strike it with your palm, the bone just ahead of your wrist.
The one that didn't work was done on the shoulders.
It works but your opponent isn't going to stand still and let you do it.
There is also a death touch, but I'm not going to reveal it, for national security reasons. I'll only say it's a hammer blow.
It's a variation of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqp7Upe5GM0
I hate hats, not a hat person. I'm 9% body fat, 143 lbs, I've been fighting and training for 29 years.
Do you wear a dress, and makeup?
I feel like, this is the kind of technique, that is just not going to work on joyce's neck https://youtu.be/dVs2XwlZak4?t=47 like not at all. If you can get past his lead arm in the first place, let alone the rear one. Especially if you're smaller.
When you lean forward you take away all your power. If you drive off the back foot, and coil your waist you strike with a lot more speed and power. Much more than just leaning forward off balance.
>When you lean forward you take away all your power.
Are you sure? https://youtu.be/lSiWRBT-P20?t=890 it doesn't look like all the power was lost on this one, quite the opposite
Those punches are weak, slow, and telegraphed. Poor technique. The hand you punch with should ALWAYS be powered by the opposite leg. If you throw a right uppercut drive off the left heel.
This guy doesn't have good footwork, he throws one of those punches and I'll end up almost behind him. Then he either eats a punch or turns towards me then eats a punch. Either way he eats a punch.
Those punches aren't weak, they are fast, clean, and powerful
You take one like that in the jaw you're done
And as a matter of fact, he ruined the other guy just with his jab, and there's nothing he could do against that
And it's not as if he only knows the jab
Let's be honest, you wouldn't take a fight against him, let alone prevail
> The hand you punch with should ALWAYS be powered by the opposite leg.
The punch isn't "powered" by the opposite leg, as in push on your leg to power your punch
The punch is powered by the weight transfer of the whole body
On a hook from the rear arm (right) for instance, the lead leg (left) acts as counter/stopper, so you don't get dragged too far forward by your own punch and land flat on your face as a result
