This one explains how the above worked https://youtu.be/MYUJkLHIzr4?t=32 so the above is deemed legit by that guy

Hm this one didn't work https://youtu.be/_NlRdptj4hw?t=33

Here it's seems to be confirmed by a doctor https://youtu.be/3WDzQdKbfM0?t=141

And here you have abib doing it on tyrone https://youtu.be/T9U9nQjbv8o

I didn't experience it one way or the other so I can't tell how reliable that is and "what's the catch" if any

What's your "size" are you above average or under? Relatively to your opponents

I'm average size, but I spent my entire childhood in different martial arts. Certain things, like controlling someone with their wrist, comes really naturally to me, and I can generally manage to control someone slightly larger than myself... even if I have to kick their leg out a few times while gaining control. I am also very sure-footed, relative to most, but I limit kicking to controlled, downward spikes to the knee or shin. I've grabbed too many legs of people trying to kick me to know that you don't kick anywhere near someone's grip. Some people are quick like lightning at grabbing your kicks out of the air.

sometimes you walk the streets at night minding your business with your booze

It's true, but not drinking and not walking around at night are good preventative measures. If you must, have a team. If you can't have a group, have a buddy. The buddy system is super important, in general.

Sometimes (in fact always as far as I'm concerned) I only have my body, my shoes and my keys

This is true. At which point, running is always an option. Practice cardio. Also, if you drive and always maintain your "escape route" where you naturally move from positions where you're blocked in by other cars... it's basically the same strategy as walking around. Always be aware of escape routes and never put yourself in a corner.

Just hammer the jaw man

Yes, the hinge is where you should hit. I really recommend the choke out, as soon as possible. I very much recommend always coming at your opponent from behind. One rule, that I see rarely followed, that was beat into me, was that you never, ever, ever put your back to an opponent. The moment you see someone's back, go go go go go go.

We need a volunteer

I might have a picture or two of one. I'll check.
