I've never had a fight where I wanted to kill anyone, I will say that. I've never taken it past self defense, except for the first fight, that one was ego, and I paid the price. I learned from that one fight that your ego makes you weak, you have to chip away at it, put it in its place or it'll poison you.

As if this was really a concern when shit hits the fan and you go all in to get a chance at saving your ass
It's an after thought eventually, "what if..."
You obviously aren't thinking in a fight, it's over too quick, however you can still be aware of your general intent. No.1 is survival, everything else comes last. You assure your survival then the intent becomes to neutralize.
