It happened to be where the Irish were living in the early 20th Century in Waterbury At times people do sometimes stay together within their ethnicity, group of origin. Like in Philadelphia, there's an entire Russian section. It just happens people of those groups happen to congregate together. Because as they kept finding bodies/body parts from the collapsed part of the building since there have been a bunch of unaccounted for people. Edit: Also too with that Tropical Depression, were that to have strengthened and hit Miami, it had the potential to cause more damage if it collapsed the rest of the building, not to mention to probably other property damage that could have happened. What they did with the controlled precautionary demolition was just that, controlled and they had gone and collapsed the building in a controlled manner so it was done safely and not damage surrounding properties
