My fiancé is pregnant and just yesterday developed symptoms that seem a lot like Covid. Bad cough, A little hard to breathe, just general ill feeling. She has an appointment on Tuesday for her pregnancy check up and they are going to turn her away if she has Covid-like symptoms. I remember reading on here at some point that there are things you can take at home to help out a lot. I know the standard ones, vitamin C and zinc. But is there anything else she can do to help speed it along a little bit?

Quercetin, it's a zinc ionophore which transports zinc through the cell wall where it can act upon viral matter inside the cell. It's effect is enhanced by vitamin C. Also 4000 iu of vitamin d and c daily spread out with meals. I would not recommend exceeding recommended 40mg of zinc a day as it can be harmful. Vitamin C, D and Quercetin should all be safe during pregnancy, but it may not be a bad idea to just double check with your doctor first that they won't harm the baby.

Thanks I appreciate that

There is terrific studies showing ivermectin as Botha prophylactic and cure. It’s easy to get as well either from a doctor or farm store. No side effects at normal dosing levels. That and vitamin d with mark5k, and a minimum of 2g of vitamin c every day. This is what I would give my own family.

The problem with buying ivermectin from a farm store that I would worry about is quality control related to purity and safety. But ivermectin is like a silver bullet against covid apparently, so good advice.

She’s pregnant any risk for his fiancé or the baby with ivermectin?

If she dont have a fever tell her not to say anything about how she feels. I dont think there is much else she can do. If you start screamin on here "fukin jews" or "fukin niggers" you'll get more of a response if that helps. Sorry.

Mm going to be pretty hard for them not to notice her cough and raspy voice

Right. When I commented nobody else had yet, or so I thought n it pissed me off so I spouted off sum dumb shit. I have spanked myself.

Good, not all of us sit around all night hitting F5 on poal, also it’s Friday night during the summer and most people should be out.

And fuck the jews and niggers. That should be put in a title if you want help, like a bat signal.

Allergies as long as she doesn’t have a fever when they temp check her.

Interesting how a doctor can turn you away for being sick.

Yeah it’s crazy. And the stupid questions, like I’m going to tell the truth and wait another two months for a five minute appointment. Put a mask on lol.

Ah! I stand corrected.

Tonic water by Fever Tree has Quinine in it.

I swear it's helped me stave COVID off, but I believe studies have shown that there's not enough in the bottle to kill it off, but I think it's helped

She’s pregnant so be careful with stuff.

There was just an news article on poal about high dose vitamin D helping patients but the doctors wouldn’t give the dose and said “it’s dangerous”. Not if used for a short period of time, they’re so fucking pompous.

This is from a doctor when H1N1 was big(the link is dead but I saved the treatment). You can find the pills on Amazon.

Stock your home's pharmacy with several fresh bottles of 50,000 IU capsules of Vitamin D3 (a medicine at this dosage, not a supplement) and if you get this flu, take 2,000 IU per kg of body weight per day for a week. As I weigh 120 pounds, I would take 100,000 to 150,000IU per day for seven days if I thought I had an infection with a 1918-like influenza virus.

Here’s this study:

The Study of Quadruple Therapy Zinc, Quercetin, Bromelain and Vitamin C on the Clinical Outcomes of Patients Infected With COVID-19.

Not all quercetin is the same. Look for the Thorne brand that says “Phytosome”

You also need a minimum of 30mg of elemental zinc, they’re going to list zinc mg overall but find the elemental part of the label. Not all zinc is created equal. I take 60mg’s to get 10mg’s of elemental or three pills for 30mg. Bromelain shouldn’t be over 1,000mg a day according to some studies others say it’s safe up to 4,000.

I can’t find anything recent on Pepcid but the doctor, his sister and coworkers all took 9 pills and recovered quickly, fever broke etc. I don’t know if it’s 9 pills every 8 hours or just once a day.

He was in China and went through the data when he got home, the richer people were more likely to die and the poorer people more to live. The only difference he could find was the richer people took Prilosec and the poorer people took Pepcid.

You can also use Pepcid for allergic reactions along with Benadryl as long as you don’t need an Epi-pen.

Really good info, thanks. Going to get some supplements for her and try it out. But yeah, I’ll do some research to make sure it’s all safe for pregnancy

All that should be safe at the recommended doses for her and the baby.
