Yeah, the whole narrative of him leaving his kid and wife, falling apart family, estranged grandparents, loser white male, genius joggers, black female leader with no strong leadership qualities, not good.
The one thing I enjoyed was the monsters. They were a bit too hyper, but the first scene where it was breathing rapidly was nicely done. Most monster films neglect the audio, or just lack a creepy vibe. These were quite good. Maybe 7-8 out of 10. I imagine the animators had a lot of fun making these.
Overall the movie had many plotholes, lots of degenerate propaganda, and a woke agenda. If a movie could just ease up on the wokeness and not be some sjw soapbox, that would be great.
Sadly, I don't expect many films to have any degree of normalcy for quite some time. Sucky movie, but decent monsters.
Yep good call. At least they explained these monsters where not the ones building the space ship they were cargo.
Yeah. It isn't exactly an excessively robust background, but the imagery, general story, and flow were quite good. The movie could have been a winner if they skipped the sjw stuff. Had lots of wasted potential on this one.
Would have made a nice series too. But the days of decent movies are long gone.
