There is a brand of duct tape called "Duck Tape", although I doubt he was referring to it.
Funny thing is that "Duck Tape" was the original name and the product was a water-proof sealing tape.
"Duct tape" is the last thing you should ever use when installing duct; the metal tape is used for that,
I was marveling at that concept just the other day, after finding my empty roll of packing tape was "Duck Tape" brand. Was the company founded as a pun/joke kind of thing, or are they actually capitalizing on a common mispronounced word and making huge profits off of it?
Something tells me these guys are playing all the angles. I find it irritating, but apparently I'm already buying their packing tape, so I'm part of the problem.
It's almost certainly just a pun lol don't read too much into it
