Ive never in my life seen whole business districts "closed for the holiday" on the 4th. And on a weekend! The whole towns treating it like Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's not a fucking holy day, it's a party. Why is there no service industry and regular ass commerce?

Well Christmas is not about that it's about families and traditions. The 4th is just a day off work when it's warm out why shouldn't i be able to get an ice cream cone
