It's fear mongering. As others mentioned there are places where that sorta temp is regular and other places where it happens often like Yuma. Notice they never mention all the record low temps of this past year or the past few years due to the sunspot cycle. The German Greens are watermelons like all the rest: green on the outside, red on the inside.

It does seem the foreign invaders aren't attracted to watermelon parties unlike the fruit; I think green voters are the most German after the left party? AFD (alternative, basically the half of republicans that you wish you could rally around but is too kooky controlled opposition until a cleanup happens) is the party turks and east europeans vote for a lot, by my experience.
For the record, we have a term for cdu/green/fdp coalition called the jamaica coalition; cdu is the judeo-christian party (they really, really cared about the Halle failstreamer) and fdp is basically the libertarian party. Flag aside, Jamaica coalition is a very weird term that's used by politicians and journalists as if it were an official term. Watermelon isn't too far away from that.
I also verified earlier temperatures in that arwa now and yeah it seems like blatant manipulation. Can't point it out without anyone saying "but trust the science it will only get worse!" and wasting my energy. Maybe I should prepare Tallest_Skill-like copypastas Not like the sun also has its own phases and you can't do anything against that.
