The other chans I know about are currently barren wastes with little to no conversation taking place. Where have people migrated to? old voat is gone, new voat isn't much different from poal, poal is meah, the site is good, and it has good content and discussion if you look, but not much of it. communities.win is pretty active but very reddit like, they don't' do any real digging or research, just repost stuff from 4chan, they are all about hopium and bandwagoning, not as much the critical thinking, they are semi-comped, GLP is ok, lots of discussion, but with the tavistok connections has LOTS of disinfo, shilling, and has degrees of 'shut it down'

that's actually a really good point and gives me a lot more insight into why old chan culture was so much better than modern chan culture, and further why I keep feeling that classic internet vibe when I come here
