I live in a pretty decent neighborhood and don’t want any trouble with the neighbors, but the problem is the next door neighbors have a completely fenced off yard yet they leave the gate open at night and their dog is allowed to roam free. It usually sneaks and takes a shit in the yard which I have dealt with all year, however now it has gone too far and shit right on top of some garlic that is almost ready for harvest. I work 3rd shift so I can stalk the yard and catch the bastard in the act if I need to. What would you guys recommend?

You have been programmed by too many air buds and milos and otises

I know one of those is a movie I've never seen. I don't know what the other two even are. I don't listen to modern propaganda (only some historic propaganda). My opinion on dogs is informed by my entire life, having dogs and treating them as family.

It does not matter what you or anyone else thinks. To you they are pests, to some they are live stock. To me however, they are family. If someone harms my family, I don't give a shit if you tell me... but it was just a pest. You hurt my family, I hurt you, simple as that. No amount of your opinion on the subject would ever change that. You may feel you are logically in the right. That wouldn't matter. I am not the only one who feels that way about their dog. If someone harms a dog they should understand that may come with consequences beyond what they believe to be resonable.
