I live in a pretty decent neighborhood and don’t want any trouble with the neighbors, but the problem is the next door neighbors have a completely fenced off yard yet they leave the gate open at night and their dog is allowed to roam free. It usually sneaks and takes a shit in the yard which I have dealt with all year, however now it has gone too far and shit right on top of some garlic that is almost ready for harvest. I work 3rd shift so I can stalk the yard and catch the bastard in the act if I need to. What would you guys recommend?

"Hey man, I usually don't mind your dog being out at night, but he's started pooping in my garden. Would you mind closing your gate at night?"

Then put out a security camera to make sure he doesn't poison your food.
