“Music is the ideal means to bring young people closer to National Socialism. Better than this can be done in political events, it can convey ideology. ”[37] This statement comes from Ian Stuart Donaldson, the singer of the band Skrewdriver and the founder of the Blood & Honor network, which is described as the“ forefather ”of right-wing rock can. Stuart recognized early on the possibility of indoctrination through music, because it enabled him to reach young people and, above all, a larger circle than, for example, the party officials of the National Front could do. With his band Skrewdriver, which was actually founded in 1977 as a punk band without nationalist or right-wing extremist tendencies, Stuart made an immense contribution to the ideological consolidation of the violent and racist currents that already existed in the skinhead scene, as they are today knows. "Skrewdriver combined the musical rebellion initiated by punk with the" new "identity offer of the class and national conscious British skinhead." [39] In order to distinguish itself musically from the Oi, the direction changed to hard rock and heavy metal, which was for right-wing rock should also be formative in terms of music. An important theme in the Skrewdrivers' texts was race, nation, people, cohesion and struggle. This is primarily about hating other races or the struggle to maintain one's own race. This should be shown as an example at two text passages.
The first comes from the song "White Power", which is about the fact that Stuart is "afraid" for his homeland, which in his opinion the immigrants are taking over and turning the "Reich" into a "slum". He even goes so far that if "we", that is, he and his like-minded people, do not win the battle, Great Britain is facing an "apocalypse". Therefore he calls for "white power" for Great Britain.
I stand watch my country, going down the drain We are all at fault, we are all to blame We're letting them takeover, we just let 'em come Once we had an Empire, and now we've got a slum
Chorus: White Power! For England White Power! Today White Power! For Britain Before it gets too late Well if we don't win our battle, and all does not go well It's apocalypse for Britain, and we'll see you all in hell.
The song “When the Boat Comes in” is also about Stuart's “fear” about his country, which he sees betrayed by the communist by bringing people with dark skin into the country. These then allegedly riot on the streets and get money from the government for it. Here, too, Ian Stuart summons his like-minded friends and calls them to fight against blacks and the government.
“Take no shit from anyone 'cos Great Britain rules We fight the communists, 'cos communists are fools Try to take our nation, and give it to the blacks We won't take it anymore, we're gonna take our nation back Nigger, nigger, get on that boat Nigger, nigger, row Nigger, nigger, get out of here Nigger, nigger, go, go, go. They riot on the British streets, they're burning down our land But the fools in government put money in their hands Give them money, give them jobs, ignore the British Whites We won't stand and watch our land be taken without a fight.
Other songs that can be regarded as typical for Skrewdriver and the choice of themes for the songs are for example "Europe Awake", "Tomorrow belongs to me" or "Free my land". Ian Stuart was an avowed “Neo-Pagan” and so Germanic mythology also played a role in some of his texts (“Warlord”, “Road to Walhalla”).
It goes on more.

4. Song Lyrics Mr. Magleby also argues that the district court erred in admitting song lyrics from racist CDs. He argues that there was no foundation for the song lyrics read during Mr. Magleby's testimony and that their probative value, if any, is substantially outweighed by their prejudicial effect. Because Mr. Magleby objected at trial to their admission, we review for abuse of discretion.
During its cross-examination of Mr. Magleby, the government was permitted to read into evidence the lyrics from a song entitled “When the Boat Comes In” by the band Screwdriver. The message of the passage read into evidence is that the nation has been taken over by African-Americans, that it should be taken back, and that African-Americans should leave the country. The chorus to this song is “Nigger, nigger, get on that boat. Nigger, nigger, row. Nigger, nigger, get out of here. Nigger, nigger go, go, go.”
Who knew I'd join them so rapidly? nigger nigger get on that boat. nigger nigger row. Ethnonationalism rules. There are a lot of White people that I hate, cunts and chads, but nothing compares to getting rid of all the niggers. I think we're all on the same side here. All niggers must go.
Thank you for this reply. I am now a Skrewdriver fan.
.
...that song "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" is a great song. However, it was written by a jew for the movie Cabaret explicitly to portray German women and children as "evil nazis" and make the death of 30 million Germans palatable to the American public.

We've got to know the enemy.
You're welcome. I'm glad to hear it. Thanks for the additional information on Tomorrow Belongs To Me as well; I did not know that.
