The concept of gofundme and incessant begging for donations seems rather new in the last 5 years or so. Maybe it always was there, but sure seems amplified these days to a disturbing degree. In the before time, you didn’t ask for $, you asked what you could do to help and earn it. Something since has fundamentally changed.
I hypothesize that the popularization of the concept of begging is to get us socially used to sucking up to the few remaining elites to grovel for their scraps en mass. This will not lead to a future of innovators, bold thinkers and foster the core concepts individual dignity and freedom. We are slow walking backwards into a total slave state while the state itself assures us that it is eradicating imaginary slavery hidden around every corner, inherently within us as an original sin and only mutable by their own singular approval.
