I think so too. The constitutional argument would be that the ultimate responsibility to do the right thing under any circumstance falls upon electoral college electors whom, as we are taught, are to save us from this kind of shit. They will be held up as the final remedy for presidential election fraud, you citizens just have to make sure you vote for an honest slate of electors. By this thinking the fraud committed during election process causes no injury because by the constitution the electors are not bound and may remedy this wrong and had the opportunity to exercise their judgement in any case of doubt. The system is built upon their judgement. The capture is complete - an arguably rigged election selects the electors who will in turn validate the election result. The narrative will focus on the presidential election because it is totally captured and any down ballot question can be swept under the rug. It becomes complicated only if audit results turn up state level problems which then cast doubt on secretary of state and county election officials. This would be, "local news," and, "of little interest." Republicans allowed this to happen. Keep that front and center at all times.
