Quite early to start propagandizing this. Buildings fail for a variety of reasons, most of them being design/initial construction flaws. The article said rebar was exposed but columns were not visibly bulging. This won't mean much until they dig it out and have a look at the point(s) of failure. My first thought is corrosion damage to rebar leading to weakened concrete near the bottom but it may also have failed near the top and pancaked. At least you are correct if you say it wasn't jet fuel!

There are pictures of support columns with rebar exposed.. exposed to water.

I'm in construction. When u demo an old shitty looking building thry never in a million years fall like that not in America. When u see videos from the middle east or China or India nothing ever collapses like that naturally... only one thing does that on purpose man made explosive or termite controlled demolition... notice thry didn't bring the foremost expert on controlled demolition and ask his expert opinion.

If you think this was not on purpose you are a fucking idiot.

Speaking as I would to engineering students, engineers always try to look at evidence before issuing a conclusion. Lots of crappy design and construction ideas were tried 30-50 years ago and we will probably start seeing failures, some quite spectacular, as unanticipated deterioration causes critical parts to be stressed to failure. This failure may have been sabotage but it could also be a structural failure. To keep credibility one waits for an investigation before announcing conclusions. (In keeping with the poal culture, please choose a derogatory, politically incorrect insult and apply it to yourself on my behalf.)
