Dopamine addictions are all the same.
Dopamine is the primary "reward" chemical in our brains and thus one of the great motivators. When you feel inspired by the drive to take productive action, that's a dopamine "withdrawal". If, after that, you've ever masturbated or taken drugs or binged on sweets instead of being productive, it's because it was a faster route to the same dopamine result. But it's not a wholesome route and it doesn't leave you satisfied; it just leaves you craving more.
Sex is one of the most dopamine-rewarding activities available to a human. It's one of the oldest paths to self-destructive hedonism (aka dopamine receptor desensitization), and it's why so many ancient cultures had social mores against whoring. These days, anything you should do in life has a dopamine junkie version of it, and independently of that, pleasure drugs are more available than ever.
As an aside, one dopamine addiction typically leads to another - gamers are often fat stoners, and chronic masturbators. It can become so severe that people will sometimes act directly against their conscious will because their body wants dopamine.
Not sure if you wanted a real answer, but this is it.
Yeah thanks
