So I was looking at my old records. From what I can tell, I have around 30% lung capacity (my FEV1 is trailing around 30% on a PFT day, and FEV1/FVC is around 35 - 40%). For those not in the know, FEV1 is how much you can breathe out in one second, FEV1/FVC is how much you can breathe out vs total volume. Both shoud be around 85 or more.

I noticed when sleeping that my lungs get inundated with mucus and phlegm, causing the insomia I have. I also noticed that edibles dont do shit against this disease. It's like the disease's progression has surpassed all hope, and has morphed into this terminal issue with no real recourse. And Im not saying this as someone who is terribly depressed over it. Nothing seems to be getting my weight anymore, i tried gouging myself on crackers and the dirtiest food i can find, and i lost even more pounds this morning (im now down to 135. I used to be around 175 not even a year ago).

My doctors feel like theyre just throwing shit on the wall and seeing what sticks, to no real success. One guy gave me meds that aggravated the condition, I went from half lung capacity straight down to the low 40s. And the progression of the disease is now measured in months when it used to be years. I went from around 55% lung volume in 2018 (when my wife was still alive), 2019 went down to around 42%, 2020 went down to around 38% capacity, and 2021 it's gone down to 32% capacity.

So it was nice knowing everyone, but i think ive come to the inevitable conclusion I will most likely be dead within the decade. So if anyone wants to start a civil war, dont forget to message me, because i honestly dont give a fuck anymore

I was more curious as to your reply. Because I've heard the standard unwilling / unable explanations already.

According to traditional orthodox Christianity (Eastern and Western), the Fall of Man was a cataclysmic event for all of Creation which began the entropy of the universe, and because Man chose to reject God and be separated from Him, that separation brought death. Sickness and death were never part of us from the beginning, but exist because our first parents brought it into the world. This condition is then inherited through our fallen nature and thus it is "appointed unto man once to die" because "as in Adam, all die".

The death that besets us is death of the physical body, but the soul lives eternally either joined to or separated from God. The physical world is an illusion in that it is not eternal or permanent, thus what matters is our behavior, which will determine the state of our soul upon death. God loved us enough to become one of us and enter into death so that mankind could be saved through various acts like baptism ("baptism now saves you") and the sacramental life of the Church, this way when the body eventually dies, the soul lives on in the presence of God.

Why then does God choose to act in certain people through healing or other miracles? In order that souls may be saved and for His greater glory. All of those who are healed, including those who eventually died, so even miraculous healings are ultimately temporary.

So why does God choose to heal some and not others? That is not for us to know.

So, Adam and Eve fuck up, even though God (who can see the future) KNEW they were going to, but all Mankind has to suffer for it? That is some psycho bullshit right there.

Adam and Eve used their free will to disobey God and God permitted it, because to prevent them from doing so would be to remove their free will. We also see in Scripture that God approaches them and gives them every opportunity to be reconciled to Him, but instead of admitting wrongdoing, they simply shifted the blame to each other and made excuses.

Any parent would understand being in this situation.
