That's really something.
I was interested to find out that most people don't listen to music the way I do.
For a standard rock band I hear each instrument separately, as well as the whole and sometimes sections interacting. I'm effectively listening to 5-7 songs at once. Normies apparently just hear the melody and some of the words of the chorus. They wouldn't for example, be able to identify their favorite song from an isolated drum track. I guess this explains why my taste in bands doesn't overlap much with others.
I'm somewhat similar to this. To make it a bit more weird, though, I rarely hear the lyrics of a song. Instead, I hear the singer as another pitch in the overall ensemble.
