It turns out a good portion of people don't have an inner monologue and can't visualize. It's fascinating. Most are reddit/NPC types, i'm sure that's totally coincidental.

IIRC the initial study found 20-25%

It's also a "depends on how you measure it" kind of things. Many have different levels, some have no monologue, but can visualize, others can't do either.

I'll ignore how that also wasn't phrased as a question and offer this (wellandgood.com) and this (iflscience.com). Yes, some people really do lack an inner monologue and it was a minor fascination of the Internet some months ago.

That’s because I made a statement and ignored the fact that you thought I asked a question. Her only actual question is as to how people see pics in our mind, and a general display of confusion. Both are at the end of the video.
