She'll make a good wife if you train her properly.

[–] -1 pt

Yeah maybe if you slap her around enough.

[–] 2 pts

What's the question being asked?

[–] 3 pts

It turns out a good portion of people don't have an inner monologue and can't visualize. It's fascinating. Most are reddit/NPC types, i'm sure that's totally coincidental.

[–] 1 pt

Is it really "a good portion of people"? I can never find good numbers about that.

[–] 1 pt

IIRC the initial study found 20-25%

It's also a "depends on how you measure it" kind of things. Many have different levels, some have no monologue, but can visualize, others can't do either.

[–] 0 pt

Some people claim to not have any inner narration in the mind/head.

[–] 0 pt

I'll ignore how that also wasn't phrased as a question and offer and . Yes, some people really do lack an inner monologue and it was a minor fascination of the Internet some months ago.

Thanks for the reading material.

Question

That’s because I made a statement and ignored the fact that you thought I asked a question. Her only actual question is as to how people see pics in our mind, and a general display of confusion. Both are at the end of the video.

I'd take a different guess at what's going on here:

Regular meditation has made me consciously aware of a lot more thoughts and processes going on in my mind than I used to be. But if I'm regularly distracted - by TV, smart phones, video games or whatever - sometimes it can be difficult to constantly maintain that conscious awareness.

I'd bet that there are a lot of young folks like her, who grew up constantly surrounded by technological distractions (not to mention the hyper stimulation and hormonal manipulation of much modern "food"), and they never really got the chance to develop much of a conscious connection to their inner processes. She probably processes internal imagery and dialogue like everyone else, but trying to access it is like trying to remember a dream - not everyone can do it well without practice.

There was a study on inner voice at a college (I can't remember the study unfortunately) where they tested college students to determine who had an inner voice.

If I'm remembering correctly, less than HALF of the STUDENTS had an inner voice which is truly terrifying.

I spend like, one fifth of every day experiencing whole worlds and scenarios in my own mind, not doing that would feel like I'm blind or deaf or something.

People who say they don't have an inner narrator, or they can't imagine things in their heads are fucking liars imo. Everyone I know can do it.

I too am skeptical but it’s interesting and something I’m not 100% percent on it.

I’m working now but I’m gonna give that a read after bit.

[–] 1 pt

Total bs. You can literally see an inner monologue happening through her facial expressions when she pauses and looks away.

[–] 0 pt

I will have to rewatch it. Perhaps a better title would’ve been “She says…”.

[–] 1 pt

Assuming she isn’t acting for internet attention I think she is confused about what constitutes an inner monologue. Perhaps she thinks it has to entail something more dramatic and profound. At the very least her face would not express emotion whereas she seems to be in a state of conflict in the video- impossible without at least some sort of basic inner thought process.

Why is it so hard to believe that people differ in how they process information. Some have an inner monologue, others think in pictures, and yet others, like her, think by saying things out loud.

[–] 1 pt

Don't care she looks pretty in my eyes even if she isn't all there.

[–] 0 pt

I don’t know. Assuming she’s being truthful, which some anons have rightly criticized, I don’t want my kids to be brain dead low iq niggers.

Why is it so hard to believe that not everyone thinks the same way. People have different ways of thinking, some through pictures, others through words, and yet others through ideas that are neither words nor pictures. The subconscious thinks in its own language, which is then brought into the conscious in a way it can understand. And of course not everything that goes on in the subconscious is brought into the conscious. Only a very small part. I don't think either one is good or bad, just different adaptations and variations similar to how some people are tall and others are short. Most of the time I have a fairly quiet mind. If you're curious what it's like I'd be happy to answer your questions.

Allow me to clarify.

brain dead low iq niggers.

When I said that, I didn’t mean that being like that automatically equaled what I said. What I meant is that beauty isnt everything. It’s big, but not everything.

[–] 1 pt

Not saying it's not a thing. But my inner dialogue says her body language indicates deceit.

[–] 0 pt

That’s where I’m at now with this one. Some anons made good points in how she may be lying for attention.
