Nice explanation; i'd like to think so too.. i sense heterosexual manliness, pro-guns and a conservative outlook from it. A baker at a corner in my old neighborhood had a dwarfish fat arab baker-charicature, waving a oversized bagel over its head, with a somewhat grim semi-threatening facial expression.. the baker himself had a uncanny resemblance with the thing, so naturally i bought my bread elsewhere..
