Don't underestimate immigration, Canada imports more people per capita than any country on Earth by a lot and have done so non-stop for decades. The numbers are actually shocking though I don't remember where to look for them.
Being Canadian used to be valuable. Today, literal Jihadists are walking around in Syria with Canadian passports.
One of them was arrested for blowing up and murdering a US army sergeant with a grenade. He was imprisoned in Guantanamo, after he was released he went back to Canada and the Trudeau government gave him $10 million. He owns a mall now in Calgary if I remember. A month later the same thing happened three more times at $10 mil each.
